THE BLACK SHEEP SAUVIGNON BLANC – SEMILLON 2016

Dry White Wine
Protected Geographical Indication Pangeon

The Black Sheep, an eccentric name for a product that stresses out its diversity and particularity. Its thoroughly modern philosophy is evident from its contemporary appearance, its screw cap and its characteristic freshness. It is produced at the Mackedon Winery at Platanotopos, Kavala, while the vineyards are found in a small distance.

The Black Sheep white wine is made from the varieties Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc in a pleasant combination of flavors and aromas.

Bright clear color with green highlights. The aromas of grapefruit, citrus and freshly cut grass coming from Sauvignon Blanc varietal are rounded by aromas of green apple and honey of Semillon varietal. The applied battonage method with Sauvignon Blanc offers the wine an elegant mouth, while Semillon gives the crispy acidity and its citrus aromas. The metallic aftertaste reveals the Mediterranean terroir.
