Protected Geographical Indication Drama

The excellent NICO LAZARIDI’s rosé wine, produced from the varieties of Grenache Rouge and Cabernet Franc. Its label belongs to the Château Nico Lazaridi family and is characterized by the painter Iannis Nikou’s new works of art, having as main theme the dance of the senses.

Electric pink color with violet hues. With a pleasant nose of mango, peach and some hints of rose. Medium body in the mouth with a refreshing acidity and reminiscent of bubblegum and strawberry. Gentle with a long caramel aftertaste. Will respond to aging for up to 2-3 years after harvest. Served at 10οC, with green salads, tiropita( feta cheese pie), blue cheese, Chinese food, fresh fruits and light desserts.

Varietals: Cabernet Franc 60%, Grenache Rouge 40%

Vinification Method: Traditional rosé vinification at low temperature assisted by the Tavel method, where the must remains with the marc for a short period of time. Then, follows the classic rosé vinification at low temperature 12-14 ΟC.
