CAVALIERI LAZARIDI RED 2013

Dry Red Wine
Protected Geographical Indication Drama

Cavalieri LAZARIDI refers to the title of Cavaliere that has been awarded to Nico Lazaridi’s family members, in recognition of their contribution to the Italian Republic.

Our latest creation is an excellent blend of the famous varieties of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon , Merlot and Sangiovese coming from selected low yield vine-plots of our own vineyards at the local communities of Agora and Pigadia in Drama region.

A wine with deep purple color and intense aromas of red berries, chocolate, cedar and nuts with some hints of herbs. A full body wine with interesting fatty acidity and soft tannins. In the mouth you find the same aromas with a more fruity character. It has long, massy and complex finish. Served at 16-18oC. An excellent match for aged cheeses, grilled meat, red meat and game cooked dishes with complex sauces.
